Description

The Tojiro Basic TBS-300 kitchen knife set includes three Japanese knives with blades made of Takefu VG-10 laminated steel. Each knife is hardened to a hardness of 60–61 HRC and sharpened to a #5000 finish.

The set includes three knives for different purposes. Each one is designed for a specific task in the kitchen.

  • Santoku F-316 – a chef's knife with a 170 mm blade for cutting vegetables, meat, and fish
  • Petty F-318 – a versatile knife with a 135-mm blade for detailed work and cleaning
  • Nakiri F-315 – a vegetable knife with a 165-mm blade and a rectangular shape

The blade of each knife is constructed as a sandwich laminate—a VG-10 core surrounded by layers of 13-chromium stainless steel. This construction ensures both hardness and durability.

The handles are made of reinforced laminated pakkawood and secured with three rivets. The design is classic—your hand won't get tired even during prolonged use.
