Description

Tojiro DP FT-032 Professional Kitchen Knife Set

Tojiro is a Japanese company founded in 1955 that specializes in the production of high-quality kitchen knives. The Tojiro DP FT-032 set includes three knives: a 150 mm utility knife, a 170 mm Santoku knife, and a 210 mm chef’s knife.

What's Included in the Set

170 mm Santoku Knife

The Santoku is a versatile Japanese knife, similar to the European chef's knife. Its wide blade and downward-sloping tip allow for cutting, slicing, quick chopping, and transferring ingredients as if using a spatula.

  • Suitable for home and professional kitchens
  • Ergonomic pakkawood handle with 3 rivets
  • Easy maintenance and convenient operation

150 mm Utility Knife

An indispensable tool for everyday use. Perfect for cutting vegetables, fruits, cold cuts, and cheeses, as well as for preparing sandwich fillings.

  • Precise control when working with small, boneless products
  • The short blade reduces fatigue during prolonged use
  • Ergonomic pakkawood handle with 3 rivets

210 mm Gyuto Chef's Knife

The Gyuto is a classic chef's knife designed for cutting and finely chopping vegetables, meat, and fish. Its balanced size and weight ensure comfortable handling of ingredients of various sizes.

  • Precise control over slice thickness
  • Ideal for fast and efficient cutting
  • Ergonomic pakkawood handle with 3 rivets

VG10 steel blade

All three knives feature a three-layer laminated blade: a VG10 core and side plates made of 13-chromium stainless steel. VG10 steel was developed by Takefu and is world-renowned for its durability and cutting performance. Its hardness reaches 61–62 HRC, and it features a fine, symmetrical #8000-grit finish.

The knives are completely corrosion-resistant. The pakkawood handle is made of a reinforced laminated material, secured with three rivets, and fits comfortably in the hand during prolonged use.

The manufacturing process follows the traditional method of forging Japanese katana from tamahagane, combined with modern machine production and hand-finishing.

A Gift for the Cook

The set comes in beautiful gift packaging and is an excellent gift choice for a professional chef or an avid cooking enthusiast.
