ZebraLight H54Fc N headlamp – wide beam with high CRI

The H54Fc N is a compact headlamp with a wide beam, powered by a single AA battery. It uses a Nichia 519A-V1 LED with a colour temperature of 4000K and a typical CRI of 93 – light that renders true colours accurately and without distortion.

Luminous flux and runtime

All values are measured according to the ANSI OTF standard. Runtimes were tested using Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA batteries. The remaining charge (approximately 10–20%) after automatic dimming is not included in the runtime.

High mode

• H1 – 238 lm (1.3 hours)
• H2 – 197 lm (1.7 hours) / 155 lm (2.1 hours) / 102 lm (3.5 hours)

Medium

• M1 – 55 lm (6.5 hours)
• M2 – 15 lm (30.6 hours) / 8.1 lm (2.8 days) / 2.9 lm (6.8 days)

Low

• L1 – 0.9 lm (18 days)
• L2 – 0.21 lm (1.9 months) / 0.06 lm (3.3 months) / 0.02 lm (5.2 months)

Beacon and Strobe modes

Headlamp controls

The headlamp has 3 main levels (High, Medium, Low) and a beacon-strobe mode. Each main level has two sub-levels, the second of which can be further programmed.

Basic operation

• 1 short click – switches to High or turns off
• 2 short clicks – switches to Medium
• 3 short clicks – activates beacon-strobe mode
• Hold (for over 0.6 seconds) – switches to Low, then cycles through Medium and High; release to select the desired level

Advanced control and configuration

Holding the button cycles through Low to High regardless of the current level. A double-click switches between the two sub-levels of the current main level. The selection is retained after switching off and when changing the battery.

The second sub-level (H2, M2, L2) is programmed by double-clicking six times at the relevant level. Subsequent double-clicks cycle the torch through the different brightness levels. A single short click saves the selection and switches the torch off.

The battery indicator is activated by 4 rapid clicks whilst the torch is off – the main LED flashes 1–4 times depending on the remaining charge.

Mode Groups

The torch supports three mode groups: G5 (factory setting), G6 and G7.

• G5 is selected with 5 clicks from the OFF position – H1 fixed at 238 lm; H2 – 197, 155 or 102 lm; M1 – 55 lm; M2 – 15, 8.1 or 2.9 lm; L1 – 0.9 lm; L2 – 0.21, 0.06 or 0.02 lm
• G6 is selected with 6 clicks from OFF
• G7 is selected by clicking 7 times from the OFF position
• In G6 and G7, all sub-levels (H1, H2, M1, M2, L1, L2) can be programmed to any of the 12 available brightness levels
• In programming mode: double-click – one level up; triple-click – one level down; single click – exit
• Three consecutive series of 5, 6 or 7 clicks reset the respective group to factory settings
