D2 tool steel
D2 steel is characterized by high wear resistance. It contains chromium, carbon, vanadium, and manganese, making it suitable for abrasive cutting. It is hardened to 60–61 HRC.
G10 handle
G10 is a composite made of fiberglass and resin. The material is strong, wear-resistant, and textured for a better grip. It ranks among the most durable materials used for knife handles.
Bearings
The built-in bearings are made of hardened steel and phosphor bronze. They ensure smooth and easy opening of the blade, which remains properly centered.
Liner Lock mechanism
The Liner Lock is one of the most common locking mechanisms used in folding knives. A side spring inside the handle holds the blade securely in the open position.
To release it, press the spring to the side with your thumb. The knife can be closed with one hand, without changing your grip.
Flipper Opening
The knife opens using a flipper—a tab that protrudes from the blade. Its surface is slightly grooved for better grip. It opens with a sliding motion of the index finger.
Advantages of the flip-top opening:
- One-handed opening
- Fast and convenient
- A streamlined profile for better performance
