SRM 131M-GB Enso Folding Knife – G10 handle and 14C28N steel

SRM 131M-GB Enso Folding Knife – a durable EDC knife made of 14C28N steel

The SRM Enso is a compact folding knife for everyday carry, designed to combine practicality with a reliable design. The clip-point blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N—a mid-range stainless steel with excellent edge retention and high corrosion resistance.

The G10 polymer handle provides a secure grip in all conditions—whether your hands are dry or wet. The knife opens via a front flipper with a sliding motion of the thumb along the tab, which is slightly textured for easier handling.

Key Features of the SRM Enso

• Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel cutting edge with a hardness of 58–89 HRC
• Blade shape: clip-point
• G10 polymer handle—durable and ergonomic
• Liner Lock mechanism—reliably locks the blade in the open position
• Front-flipper opening mechanism with a ceramic ball bearing
• Blade length: 74 mm
• Blade thickness: 2.5 mm
• Total length: 176 mm
• Weight: 82 g

Blade Processing Technology

All SRM blades undergo a special cryogenic treatment combined with a gentle heat treatment. This improves edge retention and makes the steel harder and more corrosion-resistant.

The grinding process is performed with cooling, which preserves the hardness of the cutting edge and its performance characteristics.

Sandvik 14C28N – Why It's a Good Choice

Sandvik 14C28N is a stainless steel manufactured by the Swedish company Sandvik. It ranks among mid-range steels with exceptionally good performance characteristics. It can be sharpened to a high degree of sharpness and offers a good balance between hardness and corrosion resistance.

Front Flipper – How to Open It

The front flipper uses a tab that extends from the blade to open with a sliding motion of the thumb. The tab is slightly grooved for better grip. Unlike the classic flipper, in the front version the tab is positioned along the spine of the blade.
