Description

Joe Vogel Evolution Fixed-Blade Bushcraft Knife

Joe Vogel Evolution is the result of a collaboration between survival expert Joe Vogel and steel master Roman Kase. Each knife is hand-finished in Switzerland—the edge grinding, assembly, and sharpening are all performed personally by Roman.

Solingen quality meets Swiss precision. The result is a knife that fits comfortably in the hand, is exceptionally sharp, and is reliable even under demanding conditions.

Nitro-B stainless steel blade

Nitro-B is a new-generation steel alloyed with nitrogen for greater strength and corrosion resistance. A special, complex heat treatment process was developed for the Evolution model, which achieves a hardness of 61–62 HRC.

  • High hardness and cutting edge stability
  • Corrosion Resistance
  • Annealed under vacuum and cryogenically treated
  • Thickness of the material behind the cutting bevel: only 0.2 mm

The blade is ground to zero before the cutting edge is formed. The knife stays sharp for a long time and is easy to sharpen—scale buildup is minimal.

Micarta handle

Micarta is a high-quality material made from fiberglass and epoxy resins. Its layered structure makes it lightweight and resistant to moisture and temperature changes.

  • Ideal for knives used in extreme conditions
  • A secure grip even with wet hands
  • Black
