Dulotec K258 Kato Folding Knife – an everyday knife with D2 steel and a G10 handle
The Dulotec K258 Kato is a compact folding knife designed for everyday use. Its size is well-balanced—small enough to carry comfortably and large enough for most tasks.
The blade has a Tanto profile—a modified version of the katana blade. The shape gives it an aggressive, tactical look, but it is extremely practical for everyday use.
Open with Smoothness – Bearings and Flipper
The built-in bearings made of hardened steel and hardened phosphor bronze ensure smooth and quick opening. The blade unfolds as quickly as a pocket knife. It is always properly centered.
Button Lock
A notch at the end of the blade is secured by a spring-loaded button. The lock is secure, quick, and intuitive. To release, press the button down and close the blade.
Fit and Comfort
- Reversible belt clip for a low-rise fit
- Sling hole
- Stainless steel liners
- G10 handle—ribbed, for a secure grip
Materials and Construction
D2 Steel
D2 is a tool steel with excellent wear resistance. It contains chromium, carbon, vanadium, and manganese—a combination that makes it suitable for abrasive cutting. It is hardened to 60–61 HRC.
G10 handle
G10 is a composite material made of fiberglass and resin. It is strong, wear-resistant, and ribbed to prevent slipping. It is among the most durable materials used for knife handles.
